Enterprise spending on cloud services keeps accelerating

A new report from Synergy Research Group revealed that enterprise spending on cloud infrastructure services was $79 billion worldwide in Q2 of this year, up 22% from the second quarter of 2023. This is the third consecutive quarter of significant growth – more than 20% year-over-year – meaning that the cloud market is showing no signs of slowing down.

‘Catastrophic’ – just under three quarters of business leaders using the cloud are most concerned about cloud security threats and outages

According to a survey commissioned by Auxilion, cloud security threats are a concern for close to three quarters (73%) of UK enterprises using the cloud over the next 12 months. Despite this, nearly all (88%) of those surveyed intend to migrate more infrastructure and applications to the cloud in the next 12 months.
