ACE Automation Specialty (IaC) - Frequently Asked Questions

What is the ACE Automation Specialty Infrastructure as Code (IaC) training? 15 total modules that add up to a 4-hour ACE Automation (IaC) course. How do we access it? Please visit ace.aviatrix.com/ace-iac. If you are ACE Associate certified, you can use the same credentials. If you do not have an ACE Academy account, please create one for free. Is the training free? The lab guides are free for everyone. Are the labs free? No. The labs are offered under a Bring Your Own Controller (BYOC) model. The cost of running all the labs is about $1.25 USD per hour. Instructions on cleaning up the environment are provided in the training videos as well as the lab guides. What are the pre-requisites? ACE Associate certification Teachable account Active AWS account Active Azure account Aviatrix Controller deployed from the Sandbox Starter Tool (SST). How to Schedule the Final ACE Associate Exam After Completing the Self-Paced Course

After you have successfully completed the course, you are eligible to schedule your final ACE Associate certification exam to officially become certified as an ACE Associate.Please follow the steps below to schedule your final exam.1. Be sure you have reached the final module of the self-paced training called "Scheduling the Exam." You must complete all the prior modules before this module becomes available.2. What are the pre-requisites for the ACE Associate course?Knowledge of networking concepts is helpful but not required.Do I need to complete the training in a certain amount of time? As the course is self-paced, you can access the content indefinitely and work through it on your own time. However, we recommend completing the course, including the exam, within 2-4 weeks.I cannot finish the self-paced course. It appears "locked" and won't allow me to progress forward.You must complete at least 90% of each module and score at least 70% on each knowledge check in order to proceed. No bookable exam appointments

Hello, there are no bookable exam appointments till April 2024 and only one appointment now in November, with a learning dateline for 6 days, which is too short to pass, is that a joke? Thought you are a professional company with a hundred million dollar estimation, where are your capacities?I would recommend moving to Pearson Vue if you not capable of providing enough appointment dates. Kind Regards Paul

IAC lab 1 Issue (day 0)

Hello , the mentioned url for the IaC lab 1 course shows a 6.7 controller being used, however , the SST installs a 7.0-controller which isn't working with the code in that github repo. As a result : terraform always fails.Upgrading the source-version in versions.tf doesn't workPlease help me out

IaC Course - Lab 3 - Pull Request Failing

Hi All, I've run through the Lab3 notes a number of times and I keep getting the same error when I run the Pull Request once the fqdn file is update . Any help would be greatly appreciated as I don't have a clue where I'm going wrong. Thank you in advance. Jobs with companies in need of Aviatrix certified techs

Hi all, im fairly new to the community. I have been working in tech as a jr network tech for about a year now. I went to the AWS summit and say the talk aviatrix did and i loved it. I loved the idea of aviatrix, working in networking made me want to move into cloud and eventually into cloud security.  I am planning on making the first step and getting the ACE certification and was wondering what companies are out that in need of Aviatrix certified techs. I plan on coupling this certificate with the more advanced ones and probably the comptia cloud+ and some aws/azure certs.   Ive tried doing research but cant find many companies that are specifically hiring aviatrix people.

Where and how to access the training material for Cloud Operations Training course

I have Cloud Operations Training course starting tomorrow. I got this email. "Just a few quick reminders about the ACE Cloud Ops training tomorrow: - Your emails have been onboarded to a group of users with access to the training material.
