Hi, I am wanting to find out if the Azure VM extensions / Agent Status is supported as in the current set of VMs they are all showing Machine agent status is not ready.
Ultimately I would like to add the Policy Guest Configuration Extension to these machines to get telemetry on the configuration of these devices

We currently do not install the Azure Agent on our appliances for multiple reasons, the most important of which being the availability and performance of the platform as we want our customers to experience the best possible experience from it.
In the past we had issues when the Azure Agent malfunctioned, had memory leaks and as such introduced functionality impairments to production workloads.
Also, on the security side having the Agent means having a backdoor into the platform and this is something to also carefully weigh in when it comes to compliance aspects.
