Getting the Aviatrix CoPilot License
CoPilot is available with both Bring Your Own (BYOL) and Metered licenses. For prompt response send an email from your corporate email address to salesops@aviatrix.com and request a test/NFR license. You must provide the following information in your email request
- Full Name
- Email address (use your corporate email address to speed up the process)
- Organization/Business name
- AWS Account ID
- Mention that you are requesting the license for Sandbox Starter Tool

Deploy Aviatrix CoPilot in AWS
- Deploy Aviatrix CoPilot from the AWS market place
- https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace
- As the best practice, it should be deployed in the same region as Aviatrix Controller.
- In our example, we are deploying it in the us-east-1 (Virginia) region.
- Search Aviatrix CoPilot on AWS Marketplace and click on it and then subscribe
At this stage, we are ready to configure it
Select the default options
Click Continue to launch
Select Launch through EC2
Select the default EC2 size for CoPilot and then click on Configure Instance Details
In the following screen make sure to select the VPC where Controller was deployed and also enable Auto-Assign public IP to CoPilot

Step4 is about storage settings. No changes needed here. Simply click next
In step 5 provide a name tag for the CoPilot EC2 and then move on to the security group settings step.
Now create a new security group for CoPilot
Use the following setting for lab purposes. This can further be tightened. Check the product documentation at https://docs.aviatrix.com for further details.
Now you can launch the CoPilot
