Deterministic best path selection is the prime example, BGP attributes are not carried over once received from the neighbor and makes it impossible for the architects to do any traffic engineering which is extremely critical for any enterprise.


Aviatrix ActiveMesh provides deterministic next-hop selection based on path-selection algorithm and gives the traffic engineering control back to architects. Aviatrix classifies routes in two categories:


1.     Local Routes


2.     Normal or BGP Learned Routes
